Choose by mood first, then narrow the region. JAY keeps the useful next step close: where to stay, what kind of route fits, and when the planner can take over.
Seoul and Gangneung are currently available in the Trip Planner beta. Other regions still hand your destination choice into the planner so JAY can keep the request visible while the generation coverage expands.

Neighborhoods, palaces, markets and modern city life — the easiest place to start when you want variety without changing bases every day.
Beach neighborhoods, markets and city views. The right base matters because the trip can feel completely different from one side of Busan to another.
Choose the side of the island before you choose the hotel. Jeju works best when your base and transport plan match the coast you actually want to explore.
Gangneung, Sokcho, Yangyang and Chuncheon are different trips, not interchangeable stops. Pick the route first, then the base.
A slower south-coast region for Yeosu, Suncheon, Mokpo and Shinan. Ferry and island legs deserve their own routing instead of being squeezed into a city day.
Jeonju is the familiar anchor, but Gunsan, Buan–Byeonsan and Namwon each create a different heritage, coast or slow-city trip.
Gyeongju and Andong lead the heritage side, while Pohang and Mungyeong shift the trip toward coast and mountain routes.
Tongyeong, Geoje and Namhae reward slower coastal routing, while Jinju works as a different inland stop. Driving can matter more here than in Seoul.
Cheongju, Chungju, Jecheon and Danyang suit different city, lake and nature itineraries. The last local transport leg is often the part worth planning first.
