Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on JAY Local Korea are affiliate links. If you make a qualifying booking or purchase through one of these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
JAY Local Korea participates in affiliate and referral programs with selected travel-related companies and service providers. These partnerships help support the operation of JAY Local Korea while allowing us to keep producing practical Korea travel guides, routes and planning tools.
What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a special link that allows a partner to identify that a visitor came from JAY Local Korea.
If you click one of these links and later complete a qualifying purchase, booking or other transaction, JAY Local Korea may receive a commission or referral fee.
Affiliate Partners
JAY Local Korea may work with travel-related affiliate partners, including platforms or companies offering:
- Tours and activities
- Accommodation
- Airport transfers and ground transportation
- Car rental services
- eSIM, SIM and connectivity services
- Travel insurance
- Tickets, passes and attractions
- Other travel-related products and services
Partners may include services such as Klook and other travel platforms that JAY Local Korea has an affiliate or referral relationship with.
Our partner list may change over time as affiliate programs, products and services change.
Editorial Independence
Affiliate relationships do not give a partner the right to control our opinions or guarantee a recommendation.
We aim to recommend travel options based on factors such as usefulness, relevance, convenience, value, availability and suitability for travellers visiting Korea.
Prices and Availability
Prices, availability, exchange rates, promotions, booking conditions and cancellation terms are controlled by the relevant third-party provider and may change without notice.
A price or promotion mentioned on JAY Local Korea may therefore be different from the price shown when you reach the provider’s website.
Always check the final price, inclusions, cancellation rules and booking conditions directly with the provider before completing a transaction.
Third-Party Transactions
When you click an affiliate link and make a booking or purchase on another website, the transaction is generally between you and that third-party provider.
The provider’s own terms, privacy policy, refund policy, cancellation rules and customer-support procedures apply.
Unless JAY Local Korea expressly states that it is the direct seller, we do not process or control the external provider’s booking, fulfilment or refund system.
Affiliate Tracking
Affiliate partners may use referral URLs, cookies or similar technologies to determine whether a booking or purchase originated from JAY Local Korea.
These technologies may be subject to the privacy and cookie policies of the relevant third-party provider.
For more information about cookies and tracking technologies used in connection with this website, see our Cookie Policy .
Sponsored Content and Paid Partnerships
Affiliate commissions are different from sponsored content.
If JAY Local Korea receives payment, free products, services or other material compensation specifically in exchange for publishing sponsored content or a promotional collaboration, we aim to identify that relationship clearly where appropriate.
Sponsored relationships do not remove our responsibility to distinguish promotional content from independent travel information.
Travel Decisions Are Yours
Recommendations and affiliate links on JAY Local Korea are intended to help you research and plan your trip.
You should decide whether a particular product, service, accommodation, activity or booking is appropriate for your own itinerary, budget, health, mobility, travel dates and personal circumstances.
Where information is time-sensitive, check the latest details directly with the relevant provider before booking.
